Region names with SWITCH
A Google Sheets formula exercise from Sheetsdrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
Turn the one-letter code into a region name: N is North, S is South, E is East, W is West. Any other code shows "Unknown". Fill C2 and C3 using SWITCH.
What this exercise teaches
Without the default, an unexpected code returns #N/A. A default keeps the sheet readable.
A hint if you get stuck
SWITCH(value, case1, result1, case2, result2, ..., default). The default is a lone last argument.
