Commission over a threshold
A Google Sheets formula exercise from Sheetsdrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
A rep earns the rate in F2 on all sales, but only when sales reach at least the threshold in F1. Below it the commission is 0. Fill C2 and C3 with formulas that could be filled down.
What this exercise teaches
Keeping the threshold and rate in cells means a policy change is one edit, not a hunt through every formula.
A hint if you get stuck
"At least" means greater than or equal to: >=. Lock both settings cells with dollar signs.
