Revenue above a minimum quantity
A Google Sheets formula exercise from Sheetsdrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
Total the revenue (quantity times unit price) only for the rows where the quantity is at least the minimum in F1. Do it in one formula with SUMPRODUCT, no helper column. Answer in F2.
What this exercise teaches
SUMPRODUCT works on whole ranges without ARRAYFORMULA, and a comparison inside it acts as a filter. SUMIFS cannot do this, because the value to add is a product of two columns rather than one column.
A hint if you get stuck
(B2:B8>=F1) is a column of TRUE and FALSE. Multiplied by the quantities and prices, each FALSE row becomes 0 and each TRUE row becomes its revenue.
